You can find these cave bodegas everywhere along the camino but especially in the Leon area.
They are used for storage of wine and maintain a more or less constant temperature between 11 and 13 degrees all over the year.

Anyone who has walked the Camino Frances and started before Astorga will recognize this pedestrian bridge as one of the last obstacles before reaching Astorga.
